It's a well known fact that Kristian Jørgensen belongs to the world elite among the small, select
group of musicians who have chosen the jazz violin as their instrument.
Monty Alexander didn't hesitate when he was asked to participate on Kristian Jørgensen's new cd. Alexander is, aswell as
Jørgensen, a unique musician. He floats and is grounded at the same time. And more than once his virtuosity and swing feeling have resulted in his being compared to Oscar Peterson.
It was a
happy and harmonious meeting, where Monty Alexander takes the place of a natural member of the already well-functioning Jørgensen organisation.
