On this occasion Messrs Jonas Johansen and Emil de Waal - drummer and dandy, respectively -
have sat down side by side behind their membranophones in order to lead the listener through eleven dynamic tunes written by the two gentlemen themselves, and to tell the truth: it's
rhythmic fireworks. The music in itself isn't really jazz, but rather - in keeping with this modern day and age - a hybrid of snatches of rhythms from all over the world, be it elements of
asphalt funk, reggae, Middle-Eastern incense, techno hysteria, Caribbean salsa and calypso, deep afro grooves or other home-brewed trends, all of them poured into a boiling pot.
